Some people prefer to browse the forum via an App which the owners of the site make available free of charge; this despite the fact that the App comes with no Ads to provide that little bit of revenue the site gets. I have no idea what the commercial arrangement is for getting that App but as with all "free software" its a bit tricky to complain that it doesn't do what you want - you can always have a refund on the cost of the App if you wish! Or alternatively I am sure the owners would be happy to cooperate if you want to write a free app that provides all the functionality of the existing one?

It appears that I forgot "and a bit Sarky". FYI, we're not allowed to take the p1$$ outta RIBnet Supporters

That's almost worth the £20 in itself...

Now, one as world weary as yourself will be doubting this, but I ask you - how many "Pipe & Slipper" gags or "Gentleman's Snoozer" jokes have I cracked about you since the Great Catastrophe befell you? Yeah, not a one...

Oops!

Yes, as men who have each "lost a leg" in foreign campaigns, we have to show some mutual sympathy...

It's a branded version of ForumRunner, not something developed specifically for RIBnet.

Social Knowledge (the owners of RIBnet) have paid for the RIBnet version so they can provide it free of charge to us all. It does mean that we have minimal leverage over the developer's update schedule.

Thanks for the thought though!

I've had a problem with the RIBnet site on my ipad. When I turn it sideways one side of the screen doesn't work in as much as i can't use the touch screen to scroll etc, its only your site that does it so its not the ipad, I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, it's been like it for about three months, is it likely to improve or have I got to live with it
