Rather annoying Ad!

I have this rather annoying Search Engine Ad that keep popping up in the right hand top of the screen. It only happens when I visit the RIBnet forums.

Has anyone else had this, and how do I remove it if it's malicious software. (I have an Ad Aware Spyware tool).

There are no pop-up ads on RIBnet, and there never will be! It does seem strange that it only appears when you visit here though.

Does AdAware give your PC a clean bill of health?

If Adaware doesn't then try Spybot Search and Destroy-it's another free one.
It's a lot more thorough than Adaware but slower too.

Yep, adware does. There are a couple of links to boat related website on this pop-up as well. I have been trying to sort a few probs out with my system and have had to reload all my software so perhaps it snuck in with one of them. Trouble is when I look in my "manage add ons" list I haven't much of a clue.

Had spybot before I reformatted NOS. I'll reload the software and try that.

Just ran Spybot and given my system a clean bill of health, I've also disabled all my ad-ons and that hasn't helped either.


Anyone help? I'm having a terrible time this weekend with computers.
