I've searched but can't find the answer, mainly because I can't make the search function work correctly on my phone, so, can a video be uploaded directly to Ribnet?

Yes, it can be done but it is gubbins, use YouTube.

If you must it is same as uploading a picture.

It is same as uploading a picture, add an attachment of the correct format (they are listed)

You will be lucky if many people can get it to play at all or at best stuttering, forums are not designed for streaming large video files typically, I won't bore you with the details why.

If YouTube isn't an option then vimeo maybe an option, not used it in a while but I assume they still let you inbed videos onto forums.

Xk59D is right. Its shite. Playback is highly variable (depending on the browser, device etc). Is the youtube objection a political/moral/social/legal one (in which case I get it) or purely a technical one?

Well, I've uploaded it directly and it was bumpy
first time but then ran clean after that. I'm guessing it's cached some place. Phone on Google Chrome.

Ta for help. It's not quite at Xk59D said but close, there's a video upload button which I'd not clocked before.
