Poll

I was on another forum the other day, can't recall which (I was trying to sell something- a Gerber Recoil £50.00) where they had a poll thread with which people could submit questions to be answered easily with a poll. A little box beside the post enabled all members to view the current status. It looked bloody good actually and would no doubt be of great interst, fun and a source of much debate on here. What do you think ?

Ohhhh, if we had it this would be our first POLL.

We've had a few polls here, but I'm not convinced that they really add much.

They tend to attract a pretty low response, but simply because it's a poll the results tend to be given more credence than they are necessarily worth.

I may be persuaded to start a poll from time to time if I reckon it's an important, interesting or useful topic but I don't particularly want to have a rash of pointless polls all over the place!

John

PS Just seen Jackeen's post -- perhaps polls would be a good things after all

You should do a poll to see whether it's worth doing one or not.
