Picture Viewing

Just thinking about when viewing pictures on other vbulletin forums when you click on the pictures you can view them in a flash type slideshow this makes it really quick and easy to scroll through pictures in a post. Just wondering if there was an option where you can turn this on.

John?

Thanks

James

The "lightbox" image viewer is a standard feature of the forum software, but it's not an option on RIBnet at the moment due to the way that things are set up.

It is something that has been on my list to sort out for a while, and will be incorporated into the next major upgrade.

Hadn't even heard of it to be honest! I'll have a look, but it's not likely to get to the top of my list any time soon. Definitely want to get the lightbox sorted though.

cooliris is a plug-in for browsers so you can view images in a funky way. I don't think its a script for websites. Lightbox is used a lot but uses Java so everyone has to have it enabled for it to work I think.

I quite like the way its done now to be honest, simple but effective.

I don't think it would be put to much use on here John. But it's well worth wail having as part of your browser for image searches and things
