No more credibility!

I said that I would review the credibility system after a few months, and despite some tinkering with the various settings I don't think that it has really added much to the forums in the end.

It has been an interesting experiment, but I've decided to call time on it now.

So it's gone! No more blobs! This should make a few people happy

Of course, if it turns out that we miss it now it's gone, I can always turn it back on again . . .

Has the "edit post" button gone too?

Edit: oh, its back again. Maybe my computer was just being slow...
Edit2: It will let me edit every post ive made apart from the one on the, "so you want new smilies" thread.

The edit post button shows up only when you are able to edit a post. Once the time limit for editing posts (currently set at 1 hour) is reached, the edit button will not be displayed.

A good and bad decision, good because it was being used as a tool to get at people, but bad because it at least gave people new to Ribnet some idea of who to trust.

I think with a few exceptions it worked and on the whole was a far representation of the advice that person gave

Just as a matter of interest and without naming names what were the stats most positive awarded, most negative, most in one tread etc
