It's probably because the Quote button actually said Reply. I've fixed that now

John, the other day i was trying to edit a post by inserting a number of blank lines and i got a very strange error "invalid post specified". When i edited it slightly differently it all worked OK.

I had the same thing yesterday when i edited a post.

I guess this is not enough info for you to 'debug' but there is a gremlin lurking somewhere there.
