Database errors

Some of you will have noticed that we've been having some database problems over the last couple of days. I'm treating the symptoms, but haven't got to the root of the problem yet.

Normal service should be resumed shortly. In the meantime sorry for any aggravation.

I thought that maybe the post counter didn't go past 9,999 and the system just crashed. Maybe you need to reset it to 0 ??

Yeah. It's almost certainly Codprawn's fault!

Actually looks like some hardware issues were the problem. The server has had an overhall and things are looking better. Fingers crossed . . .

JK - to help with your fault diagnosis - I was also getting this problem earlier this afternoon. It seems to be back to normal at the moment.
