chat link ???

I'm also a member pf the princess owners club who run a forum like this (but not as busy). They also have a chat room on their forum - (it's hosted on Yahoo ...). Has this ever been considered for RIBnet ? I think it's a neat idea.....

We did try this a couple of years ago and for a month there was a couple of people on then it died a death. Think Narked set it up.

Than chat engine was ...... outdated to be polite about.

If there was a chat engine that you went direct from here into it, this may work

Lokk @ www.partyboating.com They have a chat space set up and it works brilliantly. You do not need to install any software on your PC and you just go in it.

There's your answer!

Just pop along to Manos's "number one forum" and have a go on their chat room. You can set up your own rooms, so you could have a dedicated RIB section. There doesn't seem to be anyone else there so I'm sure no one will mind.

When it gets busy enough to convince me that there is enough interest, I'll consider adding a chat server to RIBnet.

Mmmm, that partyboating-dot-com is an interesting site. Dare I say that there seem to be a bit of a theme to it... sort of "readers' wives"!

and here is another one forum for your pleasure http://www.hotboatpics.com/

It doesn't have a chat but has 'intersting' photos

There are a few more forums (one uses the word pirates) but I'm not going to mention any more links as I'm sure that the moderator does not want to lose all of his followers from this forum
