Drysuits

I had various suist over the years
It does depend what you are going to use it for
Have just taken delivery of a made to measure Northern Divers suit
Breathable top half
Neoprene wrist and neck
Front bid entry which makes it easy to put on and does not fatigue the zip so much as other postions.
Knee pads
Radio Pocket on sleeve

They do a variety of designs and colours and convienience zips should you need them
latex socks or boots

Plus a great range of undersuits which is just as important as the suit itself

I must admit we have just changed over to northern diver too and i think they are the best yet ! we had polar bear and typhoon dry suits before, and they are no where near as good !

Was wearing my Ursuit Gemino last time this year - "Der Delphin" was craned out today :-(

I can comment on the Gemino 4tex I have: cordura reinforcement where needed, thought-thru details, heavy duty zippers, all designed for operating with gloves on. Plus Neoprene rather than Latex sealing at hands and neck.
Tried it last weekend, water temp 4-ish C, air sub-zero. kept me afloat and dry - test passed. One has to know that a 275N lifejacket should be worn.
To me a plus comp'd to the Seahorse is that boots are not integrated, it comes with socks. Leaves me the choice whether to wear sneakers or boots, depending on the temperatures.

there are little alternatives here in Germany, the typical dinghi or offshore dry suits are not rugged enough. Maybe there are more choices in the UK?

regards
Jan
