The standard Gill boots that Hammonds advertise do the job fine for me with good thick socks under: I actually use Sealskinz waterproof socks

Talk to Chris at Hammonds - very helpful

I use the max b drysuit by Typhoon when i'm on a Rib, Dinghy, Jet Ski or when I know i'm going in the water and is perfect as has fabric socks instead of latex so it is really durable. I put a huggy bear underneath and gill boots that are previously mentioned and i'm snug as a bug! I have seen them on here, worth a look Typhoon MAX:B Surface Drysuit

Breathable suits DO wear well if looked after

I have had a Musto HPX (which is breathable) for many years now and have used it for at least 4 years commercially and its still going strong, for powerboating i wear old walking boots that are about a size too big to make getting on and off easier

i think breathable is a must as we could be out 3 days a week all year round for up to 5 hours at a time ! are the Musto HPX made to measure or just set sizes?
