Super yacht tender accident - no kill cord

Le Grand Bleu was in the solent a few weeks back..... Flashbacks of Padstow... It doesn't bear thinking about if they had had famous super yacht charter guests onboard... Luckily for the rib crew no harm to them. Even on super yacht tenders even though it doesn't look cool...
Wear your kill cord....!!!!!!!!!

I don't think there was. At least, I can't find it.

That could have been really nasty. Lucky to get away with only a bit of expensive damage.

I will try and take a pic of it it's boarded up with a sheet of ply at the mo.
My lad saw it happening it was in a crowded bay lots of boats moored up and people in the water
It smashed into the master cabin.
None of the tender drivers bother with kill cords though

They call THIS a tender?!

It looks do desperately damaged, as a good will gesture I could swap it for my dinghy with 2.5 Toha

Interesting design of tube with the "boarding step" right at helm to make it easier to fall out! Will presumably result in main report?

Is it a jet or outdrive?

I'm not sure why it would be any worse if the guests were famous?
