Beach lifeguard?? Can you tell me more, sounds like something I would like to do.

What does it involve and do I have to have any sort of qualifications before hand, how much it is, when it is, etc??

It would appear, only if I hire them in!

For the record, you cheeky wotsit, i reckon if you had the same amount of gear and peope on board that I did, you wouldn't have stood a chance...

Hi Sarah
You need to be fit a good swimmer and able to swim 400 metres in 8 minutes or less. The cost of the course is 200, less if you can bring some other students .The course is 5 day's in total
Lifeguard season runs from May 1st to 30th of Sept .
I run courses April , June 1st week and 1st week of October .
Specialist modules are extra see Jimbo for VHF
Inshore rescue Boat second week of Sept 200 (Qualified lifeguards Only)Student discount applies based on numbers.
Paddle board done on the course
Rescue ski done on the course

Can alway's give you details of RLSS Beach Lifeguard Trainer/ Assessors.

Am running a course over here 1st week of June and are pushing for National Training Centre Status due to all the courses we run.
