Can you expand on which law that is pls.
Ref the Master 200 v RYA version, had this discussion with RYA & MCA some time ago.
RYA still claimed it was the same, MCA adamant it wasn't.

However, to be pedantic, this surely only applies to a 'Commercially Endorsed' Yachtmaster,
Commercial Endorsements | Professional Qualifications | Learning | Courses & Training | RYA
as required to satisfy the MCA Code of Practice MCA code of practise
Presumably, a 'standard' Yachtmaster, has no status under UK Law.
