Have a similiar gripe when giving quotes for deliveries.

I have Commercial Yachtmaster and various other MCA quals with around 22 yrs experience with 'larger' boats and they expect you to crew or skipper "..for the experience or sea time".

Well I don't need either as average 200 - 300 sea miles in a good week anyway! They wouldn't expect to get some one to fix the car or decorate the house for "the experience".

A horrid med style Novamarina (something like that) Rib which aint in your picture. It was my first go with a new 4stroke suzuki. Not too bad but it doesn't make a good noise when you floor it!!! Sounds like it needs batteries!
