Online booking

Hello guys, can you recommend a good, reasonably priced booking system for boat trips. Would be keen to hear what some of you use.

Cheers, Ruari

What do you do? Are all trips the same length? How many boats? How many locations do you operate from. All these things would alternate the best solution.

Simon

Just a single boat , 1 location, 3 different trips, per person price on each trip under £20
Looking for something simple, had a look at booking last year, looked very professional but the £250 setup fee was harsh, something in between would be good with low commission.

Hi James,

Thanks for your reply, Ive trialled many systems now and I short listed 3 they were ibooking, bookeo and Pauls one from above post.

Ive decided to go with Pauls system as its a full customised system purpose built for boat trip operators and once you buy it its yours rather than monthly fees.

P.s top 3 merchant accounts for value and rates were - worldpay, streamline and cardsave.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Ruari

Does anyone's booking system have the functionality to work with Groupon voucher bookings?

Banks borrow at a 0.25% and charge out at 12%.

Stay away if you can.

Hi Ruari
I'll have a look at Paul's system.
We started using Bookeo a few years back. At the time there was no online booking software that didnt cost the earth or take a cut on each booking.
Cheers
James

Hi James, Thames Rib Charter use it. He emailed me a link for trial software was really quick to play with no downloading. Thing I liked was its a Booking System not just online booking so you get accounts etc included.
Im well chuffed with the demo software cant wait to get it all setup for the season and hopefully alot less emails and phone calls here I come....

We went for cardsave and got a good deal, what I would say is shop around because most companies are competitive and will waver setup costs and reduce rates.
Cardsave and worldpay are owned by Streamline. All three gave me different prices it was a laugh, cardsave negotiated the best deal.
