I'm likely to be in driving Nigeria for Jan Feb, maybe forever if my luck runs out, so if you fancy an adventure

Depends what commercial work you want.

We run a Sea Safari company and also offer safety boat and off shore support boats.

There are a large number of rib based trip boats around the UK, many looking for staff.

I know of a couple on the Thames that need skippers.
If you or anyone needs or are looking for work in that neck of the woods please feel free to pm me.

I am very fussy about who I let work on the safari side, you not only need to be good with the boat but you need to be great with the customers too.

Lots can drive not many can entertain.
Whilst the boats always go out two in crew, one to drive, one to look after the customers both need to have the skills to interact with the people on board.

Sometimes a clown,sometimes a jester and sometimes a fool.
As long as they are not a crusty moody sea dog and the customer has had a great time who cares!!

Safety first, customer second.

If you could drive a boat Garfi you would be welcome, hell we have not had a Muppet so far

I know what you mean Jon. I work on a quinquari up in North Wales and thought the job would be great just because i get to dive a big boat with very big engines but in the second year of working for this business i was encouraged to do some of the talking on the trips and now i enjoy both parts of the job driving and entertaining the customers It has given me much greater confidence.

I tend not to drive much these day's.
To be honest some of my crew are far better at that than me

Was told at school I am a natural salesman, no not full of BS Garfi!.
I really enjoy the interaction.
Enjoy being able to pass on information to the customers that they never knew.
I get a real buzz from it.

I enjoy boatshows in much the same way.

Its not actually Mr Price but i have heard of his good work. Its Dyfi Discoveries in Aberdovey. Yes i agree about telling people the interesting things that they do not know.

If i am down your way i will defiantly come and say hello.
