Comm Mileage /Delivery charge

Wondered if any of the commercial operators minded sharing what you charge for delivery /cost per mile with Rig and RIB.

With ever increasing fuel costs, we now need to uplift our charges accordingly.

For background, the structure for the work in question is based on a boat fee, a skippers fee, reclaim of RIB fuel costs and any other reasonable disbursements /accomodation etc. Over and above these, a pence per mile charge is applied for travel /delivery (due to working at multiple sites, which can vary both in terms of location and order in which work is excecuted ).

I have done some number crunching and have come up with a figure, but would be most grateful to see how it compares with others elsewhere in the UK.

It depends on the nature of the job, but I usually work on 50p/mile + VAT to cover fuel and vehicle wear and tear then a hourly/daily rate on top.
