How flexible is this system for adding extra sessions, editing them etc?

I'm currently looking for a system to replace our paper based system for sailing and power courses. We have a mixture of programmed courses which people enrol on and a lot of bespoke private tuition all of which need to go on to the same calendar/system which we can access from home or the office.

I tried using google calendar at the start of the year but soon had problems with events moving, going missing or being repeated when I started syncing with my outlook and phone calendars so reverted back to a paper diary when we started having 'random' people turning up or not at all.

Looking for something which has a calendar, can handle bookings/course registers for each course/event and ideally will send out joining instructions etc by email to new students when I enrol them on a course.

We have a really good system that we take bookings on

It was developed by my web designer

Im sure it could be adapted for your courses

We take bookings for about 3000 people per year

We have about 5 RYA centres using it for running their centres more coming on every month. Hi James, did you ever come up with a solution to your problem. Depends on wether you want a solution that customers can book on line and check availability, or whether its a back office system you require for staff to make the bookings on. Two completely different systems and complexities involved. If its on line bookings through the web i am not your man, however if its back office systems, this is my area and anything is possible with regards to besoke requirements. I am off to Cyprus for 4 weeks for a bit of ribbing round Latchi and Pahos in the near future, but give me a shout if you want to discuss your requirements.
