Bbc....from The Horses Mouth

UUuuuum. Seemed to bring back too many bloody awful memories from our perspective. Thought it interesting the BBC bracketed the footage with Mr Oliver's voice over stating "we were caught out..."

JS could you count me in on the copy please as I need it for our records.

Will PM via email now.

Anyone who wants to see again should flick the box on at 7.50pm on Wed 20 Dec 06 if you missed it. I think I might be in the pub though.

Merry Christmas All

Bbc Web Site

The clips on the BBC Coast web site do not contain the swamping footage as this was only added to the programme at the last moment.

If anyone can help by recording it next Wed then please get in touch. (Email below)

Not being macabre but I would like the imagery for our records and I don't have the IT means to do it. (Spent all our cash putting two new sweet 225 ETECs on her). Now she really goes!!!

I was stunned a few months ago when the pleasure steamer Balmorel started taking on water after hitting an underwater obstruction near Swansea docks. The ship made it back to it's berth in the river and the firebrigade were there to assist the pumps. The RNLI all weather also took part.

By the time I got there everything was fine - no drama at all. A few minutes later the BBC turned up with their cameras - the RNLI vanished - then came back in at high speed to take part in the rescue!!! They did the "rescue"again just for the cameras - SAD!!!
