Automatic Extinguishers

Whilst on the subject of fire extinguishers, I have just purchased a diesel inboard RIB. One of the requirements coming up frequently whilst talking to insurance companies is an automatic extinguisher for inboard engines.

I have no objection to these, however the space inside the engine box is a little tight and Im not sure I actually have room to fit one in a pratical position.

The only space I can see to fit a 2kg unit is right at the bottom near the bilge and I am not entirely convinced this would be the best place for it?

Any thoughts on this subject would be appreciated.
