OK, that's enough. Just take the Nationalistic nonsense and name calling somewhere else please.

Thank you!

codprawn you are writing about some people caught near airport which means national security.......that is another story than simple british tourists that are coming to our islands every summer getting drunk and make a mess without anobody to stop them...you should see news of rodos island,of crete,of cyprus every summer...british and germans crowling in the sidewalks and on streets, vomeeting aside and showing their asses on camera!!!boys and girls......should we take those 10-20-30 people as a general sample of all the british??? i don;t think so.
on the other hand you (brits) above all should understand better national security....did you forget after the bombing in you metro what you did with arabs????
please it's another story tourism and another story national security......especially after theese major bombings, threats etc worldwide...

I do hope you're not suggesting 'the centre of the known universe' BOATMAD.COM!!!

Twood be more appropriate in the ghost town that is 'RIBSTERS', as there's no one there to take offence! No one that matters anyway.

Didn't do well unfortunately. May be next year.

The RALLY (is not a race) was an experience for me. I was lucky enough to be invited by Grigoris as the moral support for the team and I was also lucky to be able to particiapate as a rescue crew driver on RESCUE 3 and also navigator on the same boat in one of the legs of the rally. Unfortunately doctor ordered and I had to stop due a serious hematoma which developed on an old injury on my left leg.

I met with some wonderful sincere people, had great laughs and made some VERY GOOD friends.

Congratulations to all the participants and and in particular Sir Charles Bloice and Paul Lemmer who were racing on Sir Charles' aluminium RIB and Josh (I think) on the Phantom Evolution. Great boat

The Greek boat IMHO it was by far the best boat for this race and prevailing weather and sea conditions and I believe that it wan fairly.

So GONGRATS to the Greek builder TOP LINE and crew Grigoris (the pilot) and Adonis (the co-pilot).

Also a BIG thank you to V for the VERY fast and at times VERTICAL experience on the SR9 and hopefuly will see him in Portugal in a couple weeks time.

All in all the race was a success and hopefully it will be a bigger success next year.

I just hope that more people come.

Will post some photos and videos later on since I'm on my way to the hospital for a small operation on my foot.

Having it surgically removed from your mouth?
(Sorry, couldn't help myself. I'm joking OK)

Congratulations to the Top Line guys on an excellent win.

P.S. How can you win if it's not a race?

Oh, don't flatter yourself you pompous fool. Why would anyone want to waste their time on a piffling also-ran speedboat forum?

I was thinking more of www.wtf.com "an online RANTING community for those who want to bitch and moan about anything on their mind". I might have to see if there's a way we can move entire threads over there . . .

I was wondering that too.

From what we've read here, it clearly is a race. I wonder why it's masquerading as a non-competitive event?
