Looking like its on pretty thin ice right now. 50% deposits were due this week but I know of nobody that has paid due to a slight lack of clarity in the accounting process. Needs kicking into life or it may well not happen...

Sorry have just re-read my post and it comes across very negatively. It was not meant to, just aware of the problems and concerns that many are feeling. I hope it does happen and hope that the current hiccups are nothing more than a small glitch.

Not only have a number of people paid the required amount on time, the accounting issues have been resolved and a separate account has been set up with a number of signatories - this should resolve the only issues that competitors had, as everything else is going well!

Out of interest and not wishing to be rude, what sort of budget do you guys give yourself to fund this type of event, over and above your boat, I ask this from the Jo Blogs angle funding himself and not you lucky chaps that can run it along side your boating related business:-) thanks in advance, Phil
