I understand live streaming video to be just that - live. It seems you will be uploading recorded video in the evening - still great to see how rough it is!

The only way of doing a live feed from out there is via satelite and that's expensive! Of course if you can get a 3G signal you could get a low res signal through, but that wouldn't be cheap either ......... unless you know different?

Milford Haven

Does anyone know what time the boats will be arriving/leaving Milford Haven and where the competitive legs in/out of MH will end/start?

I've looked at the web site it all seems to be very vague. The course would appear to have no turn marks etc, which makes it difficult to be an “on the water” spectator. Surly not the best way of attracting sponsors either, I was thinking of going to take a look somewhere off the east coast but where and would be safe to do so?
If anyone reading this knows more please do tell

Jim

I would suggest that the start and finish lines are the best place to see all the boats at the same time. You may have to use some local knowledge to work out where the boats are most likely to pass.

Cheers

Mark

P.S. There is only one mark, which you need to keep on your right, all of the time.

Getting ready for the Round Britain - all pretty tight on time - but don't think we are the only ones in that position!

Anyway - a shot of the boat - the first Technohull into the country- racing in last weekends Cancer Charities race.

Adam

All the best to everyone frantically getting prepared!

it looks likely that I will be on the west coast of kintyre for the tuesday (Bangor --> Oban) leg. Are most of the boats likely to go round the east of Jura? ...is there a reasonable prospect of seeing some boats in the sound of Jura - if I make the missus watch for hours and not see any action because the fleet either goes round islay or through the sound of islay I will be in trouble. Sound of Jura seems most logical to me - but what do I know!
