Last one of Silverline 471, and then Seahound V arrived as well, although isn't going in tonight.

Hi Alex: Presumably, they're moored up in the marina overnight, not at Carr Jetty?

Yeah, they're in the marina tonight now...

Another 5 have just turned up at Milford in the last hour - they're continuing to launch the ones they can.

I know the Weathers been Bad but !

why have they moved from Pylmouth to milford ?

would it not just of been easier to have had the lay day yesterday instead of on wednesday ?

i know that they would of had to change hotel bookings etc but that must of been an easier option than transporting all the boats via land

also some of the "RTD" from the first leg have know had longer to prepare for the next legs.

so if you retired in the 3rd/4th leg could you not then argue your case that those the retired earlier have had a better opertunity to restart ?

what would of happened if the leg between Milford and Bangor had/has to be resceduled its a longway via road and ship to northern Ireland

Andy

It was clearly a difficult call, and not one that was taken lightly.

Taking the lay day early would have meant changing all the logistical arrangements at Milford Haven, Bangor and Oban. I guess they decided that it wasn't practical.

There probably wasn't a "right" decision, just the one that seemed least bad at the time.
