I like the fact that Neil McG is at 6:1 making him second favourite!

I think they are all in for a shock and it is impossible to say who will get round, let alone win.

My money is on the weather rather than a particular boat or crew. With a big low coming in and up from the Azores, going West will be interesting let alone turning the corner and going North in a big following sea.

I wish them all well and I hope they all have a lot of extra pain killers on board.

MBY lost the plot

Not that I mind being 40:1, but not sure there is any value in trying to compare boats from different classes. Added to that in our entry, they couldn't spell my name and got the boat length wrong.
Would be interesting if someone smart did it by class and then compared that view with the actual results as the race progresses.

Wrong picture as well

Maybe they thought the Mk1 Scorpion looked better. Reading the whole thing again this week it is very strange. Is the writer new to the job?

Er.. he competed in the first Class 3 race in the UK in 1962 and has been writing for the MB and Y for 40 years or so.

See you soon to discuss odds, and taxi rides!

Oh and the 34 knot classics have the same odds.
7 RB4 boats finished in front of the first RB2 boat - so not such a bad call!
