RB08 RIBnet entrants

I've been looking at the entrants list to see which RIBnet members are entered in the Round Britain race. Here are the ones I've found so far - who've I missed?

Class RB1
Andy Macateer - Driver - #111 - Venturer - Buzzi
MarkWildey - Crew - #111 - Venturer - Buzzi

Class RB2
Barry Deakin - Driver - #69 - The Bandit 1 - Hunton

Class RB3
Graham Firmin - Crew -#R2 - Hot Lemon - Scorpion
Mikko Oikari - Driver - #9 - Vilda - Dahl
Adam Younger - Co-driver - #18 - Ikon - Technohull

Class RB4
Toby Budd - Crew - #144 - RIB International Magazine - Artic Blue
Jon Cooke - Crew - #R3 - My Pleasure - Osprey Lynx
Gavin Howe - Driver - #10 - Black Gold - Scorpion
Paul Lemmer - Driver - #144 - RIB International Magazine - Artic Blue
Greg Marsden - #102 - Vampire - Ribcraft
Tom Montgomery-Swan - Co-driver - #144 - RIB International Magazine - Artic Blue

Class MC1
Phil Boarer - Co-driver - #R80 - Seahound V - Scorpion

Not RIBs:
Jan Falkowski - Navigator - #471 - Silverline - Buzzi
Jon Fuller - Co-driver - #43 - swipewipes.co.uk - Phantom
John Guille - Driver - #185 - Gee - Souter

If any of the RIB entrants want a RIBnet burgee then send me a PM and I'll get one in the post to you

John

Phil Boarer (philb) is crew in Seahound I believe. And Andy Macateer (Techno 40) is entered in his Buzzi Techno 40 (Venturer) but hasn't posted for a while. Graham Firmin (grahamf) is crew in Hot Lemon. And isn't Paul Lemmer a member of RIBnet (in the Arctic Blue with Tom M-S).

And don't forget Cookee and Kitten are involved in the build of Jonny Fuller's Phantom swipewipes.

Just remembered, Cookee is doing a leg in Gordon Compton's boat, My Pleasure (I think it may be Bangor to Oban?). And is RIBnet member John G John Guile (in Gee - not a RIB!)?

Has Jonny Fuller's membership 'expired'?
A RIBnet burgee would really look the part on Warlord II

OK, I've claimed that lot - even though at least a couple of them haven't shown their faces for a year or more, and one of them is permanently unable to post

Any more?

It's bad enough that the contract laminators stuck a Bananashark logo under the deck for a joke!

You're right, I'm doing Bangor - Oban - I hope to jump on a few boats through the canal to get the stories of the trip up as well, then return from the far end and meet everyone at the finish!

Not quite and entrant but I am acting as a marshall on the finish line at Oban.

Look out for the blue and white Redbay.

All the best to everyone racing and see you in Oban

Jon Fuller has put up a video diary from one of the guys doing the RB and it gives a real taste of what the event was like, plus you don't need to shell out the £18 or so pounds for the profesional DVD ( which I have by the way ).

You can find it here.

Little to no action from the boat I was in so praying that the official DVD has some footage of the FB40 doing it's stuff.

Cheers

Mark

Based on where "33" is I think that was just before Dover when we were doing 75 knots. They had to slow down in the rough stuff whereas we could carry on at that speed and they never managed to catch up

Thanks for putting that up.

Regards

Mark
