"Heated up", I'd say that was more you!! I'm somewhat surprised that you even bother to post on a forum that isn't likely to supply any people for the cruise. Unless of course you enjoy the banter or you are getting "heated", as you say.

As you mention VB code, it was me that posted it to defuse the situation. In case you can't understand a joke, it was a JOKE

Also as you are quoting me in your post, if you bothered to read my couple of posts you would see that I was actually unhappy with some of the RibNet posts and not joining in the "have a go" bandwagon.

I think you will find most people here wish you the best of luck as I do.

In summary "get a grip"

Mark

what a wonderful way to pass a Saturday afternoon. Me? a traffic warden, that sounds a good idea - give everybody a ticket, Waffles -dont eat fats. VB code pretty cool stuff-and if you knew a little of VBA you would have seen I was taking the piss.Driving my boat across your bows - what a waste of gas.

The only thing I am concerned about, is that you state in the application form that you can get your PB2 cert in. half a day. This is misleading and an insult to the RYA who are trying to apply some kind of discipline to the sport.

I suppose proceeds are going to Charity?

Charity - why not?

Are there any rib.net preferred charities ? Or shall we stick to the good old RNLI?

Rib.net man spotted in Cowes

I have just had feedback from the gumball crew in Cowes today recruiting amongst the Cowes Classic that rib.net man has been spotted in Cowes and we hope to bring you some photos tomorrow.

Sarah Donahue a regular of the gumball car rallies has also just agreed to do some briefings at the start and go in the Pace boat!

As ex. James Bond stunt woman she is a perfect choice to literally set the Thames alight!

Now you certainly dont get that on the usual rib.net rally!

It would be preferable to start saving some kids in Niger. But this gets covered by NGO's- and I have as much faith in the NGO's as I would have in James Bond!!!. Why doesnt wonder women -instead of setting the Thames alight , set people's consciencses alight in Northern Europe as regards the plight of the other 90% of the world stuck in povety. Just do the calculation - the gas you are going to use could feed a lot of people... and I dont mean doing a Bob Geldorf.
