Excuse me for my ignorance, but if the RYA are such a problem, why involve them at all, just tell them you dont need them and they can go back to playing with sticks and rags!

It would be useful if you found out the true story before speculation on forum's. But hey, that probably is not so interesting...! You do the searches for sponsor reactions...

My I nformation comes straight from the horses mouth so to speak. I've also been on the receiving end of the RYA and there silly rules. I will start an open discussion about my trails and tribulations if you want

Andrew can you tell me where to search for sponsors reaction, I've had a look mad cant find anything, I'd like to know who implemented the 25 knt wind rule among other things

I understood as of this afternoon that Monaco will not allow the race to finish there.
Also that UK to Biarritz is being mooted as a shorter race.
This was from behind closed doors a few miles away from the boatshow from a respected source.
Any ideas?
