Cowes Classsic

Whos going to be around in Cowes for the powerboat fest this weekend? I assume all the regulars like Cookee, Adam and Carl? Anyone popping over to watch the racing? I should be about most days with camera in hand.

Tim

Details of the Cowes Classic event are here.

I think the three races Cookee will be competing in are:

Friday 26 th August

14:30–15:30 Race 3 RYA National RIB Championship

Saturday 27 th August

11:15-12:15(?) Race 6 RYA National RIB Championship

Sunday 28 th August

11:15-12:45 Race 10 Gillette MACH3 NITRO Gel Isle of Wight Powerboat Challenge (Race Class)

See this for maps of where the racing will take place. Basically, the first two races will be run in the Solent to the North and West of Cowes, whilst the last race is 'Round the Island' anticlockwise.

Good luck to everyone competing!
