Hi Biff. Steve is fine and is on the edge for the 8th Crew Member. His Ticker is fine, its his missus (my Sister) thats the problem!! At the moment it is going to be based in Portsmouth but we are negotiating a sponsorship deal which may mean a move overseas.

Was with Jan at the weekend and was talking about how much beer we would have to drink to build the boat. I think by the end of the session we had enough to build two!!!

The alternative was to build it out of recycled "Zimmer Frames" which we are rapidly approaching as a "Mode of Transport"
Take care and see you soon.

I think that an 80ft RIB made from 2" thick steel plate and lined with cement might be slightly above the optimum weight.

The boat will be built by Micklewrights. Andy Micklewright will be known to some people here, and although not a boat builder he has built a couple of boats in the past.

Jono's been very quiet (non-existent) on here of late. I wondered whether he was busy on some project.

Obviously not.

What's his excuse then?
