Custom built Avon Rover 340.

Though the hull dates from 2002, both it and the white Hypalon tubes are in excellent condition with no patches or repairs and holding air perfectly. The current fit-out was executed by me in the winter of 2009/10 (see My Winter Project for pics) with custom-made seat boxes, Tempress Fish-On folding seats and steering console imported from Grand Boats in Canada.

The engine is a 2006 Tohatsu 18hp four-stroke with remotes, electric start and manual tilt. The engine has, to my knowledge, been used for approximately 50 hours and was serviced in March by Ribshop. The trailer is an Indespension JS05 roller trailer. New bearings were fitted last year along with wider rollers. It would make a stylish tender for a large yacht/cruiser or, as has been the case for us, a safe and inexpensive way to get out onto the Solent (or the like) in the summer.

Comes complete with HawkEye Depth Guage, bilge pump, auxiliary (12v) power socket, nav lights, anchor (with chain and warp), fenders, full custom made winter cover, 12 litre fuel tank, bow cushion (sited under rear seats) and Triple-Lock hitch lock. Boat has been kept garaged when not in use, and engine has been flushed with fresh water after every use.
