Yet more bloody ebay scammers...

I sold the Frontera on Saturday for a handsome profit.....been scouring ebay for its replacement and have been outbid by blatant scammers 5 times so far.
BMW 525td, Landy van with 300TD engine, 2 LPG rangies and a SWB shogun...

On the bright side, I've just managed to get a replacement...

Jap import Isuzu Mu 2.8td, 66000 miles on clock.

Basically a Frontera Sport with a 2.8TD Isuzu lump. It's got to be the best of both worlds-a body that doesn't fall apart when it rains and an engine that goes on forever with sod-all mileage

I was bidding on a BMW for a friend, and i won yesterday, however the seller emailed me today explaining he sold the car two days ago privatly however was unable to withdraw the car from the auction due to internet problems. He did apoligise but still VERY DISAPPOINTING! Is that even aloud? Is there anything i can do about it, except leave BAD feedback ?

That's a shame. However, IMvHO I don't think it's reason enough to leave negative feedback. If the seller had genuine internet problems, then a little tolerance and understanding would go a long way. On the other hand, if your friend had been in touch with the seller directly and left contact details like a 'phone number, then a call would perhaps have been polite!

The trouble with leaving negative feedback is that the other party may decide to give you a negative as well.

Ebay is turning into a joke if you ask me. Same thing that happened to hannah happened to me not so long ago with a boat. The seller had odviously got a higher offer from someone else, dispite me winning the auction.

My girlfriend was bidding on a used Sony laptop last night. Average spec, she bid £400. It went for over £3k in the end. Suprise suprise - winning bidder was a new user with a feedback of 0

Cheers Nick!

Yeah, it does-pulls like a train. It weighs considerably less than a LWB frontera!

No one takes any notice of feed back unless you're a seller. Then it's negligable.

Ditto. I've only ever had problems with people with negative feedback already.
