On the 8th December the author will be down on Hayling Island beach with a BBC film crew using his Mk7 canoe to recreate a historical picture from the book of a Mk7 Canoe being dragged up the beach there.

He’ll then be giving an interview in the BBC South studios during the evening for the local news programme.

Following his new found fame on Television, and as its Solent Beer and Banter night, the Hobbit might then see fit to grace us with his presence at The Church.

We are presuming the canoes will be on show in Falmouth from around that date as well.

Nasher.

Mollers, have you been down yet?
We are planning to visit the museum on Monday afternoon the 29th Dec.

As you can see from the images below the display is set up now and creating lots of interest.

The images are of my Mk9, Quentins Mk2, and the museums Mk7.
Oh plus Quentin(The Hobbit) and George Hogg from the Museum.
Thank you to Quentin plus the museum for the images.

Mmm, yes, I need to talk to you guys about the spare engine you have for the RAF rescue launch, and if you'd sell it.
