We always taught students to look down , identify & release harness , then jump out of aircraft - there are cases of people panicking , deplying chute by pulling anything they can in the cockpit , then trying to jump out ......

wingsuiting must be amazing - I am sure I'd love it if I ever had the balls to do it ! Full respect !

See what you mean about the camera, you must have a neck like a bull dog. What year was that ??

Reckon it must have been '98, and yes, had a very tough neck as it was my job for quite a few years.

Thanks for the replies I'd recommend trying a skydive to anyone that hasn't done it before.. I can even get you preferential rates in Lincolnshire The video was shot in Seville, I go there once a year to avoid the British "Summer"

I've put another video below, its my 200th jump... and you can see my face in this one Rocknrolla

Also, On the subject of para-sailing... I've got one for the RIB if anyone fancies a go !? Its a Waterbird Super 32, here's a pic of it behind the RIB http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._2961341_n.jpg

[/QUOTE] I would have a go at that, I would also have a go at paracending at least doing it this way you know that the chute is open before you take off

They say;

1 in 2,000 chance of main parachute failing
1 in 5,000 of reserve parachute failing... so the combined odd's are pretty slim....

However, I've had two "malfunctions" that have resulted in me using my reserve parachute - both my fault / human error.

Basically, if it all goes really wrong, they'll be scraping you up with a spoon and bucket !
