possibly the most bizzare argument I have ever heard for nuclear power.
Often when a ship hits a sand bank it can be refloated - adding yet more obstacles near shipping lanes can't be a good idea.

As to my bizzare argument maybe it could have been worded a bit better. One of the most common arguments from the mentalists is that "the place will be radioactive for 2,000 years" etc etc. They seem to forget that people are living quite happily in the only 2 cities ever to have actually been hit by a nuclear bomb. 2000 years hasn't quite passed either............
