I was listening to Tindersticks' "Tiny Tears" but having just suggested to my wife that we buy a jet ski I am now having to listen to her kicking off instead.

Try 'Wonderwall' by Ryan Adams. arguably, better than the original.

Great song, but that arrangement has been played to death by every busker and bloke/guitar pub singer.

Point taken, it is a different angle at a great song. It shows how good the actual original material is.

Not many songs, imo, can better the original, can think of one atm,

Hwever its still the writer who should take the credit. Its like a choice between the 'X Factor' or 'Later with Jools Holland'.

'Linger' by the Cranberries.
Delores O'Riordan.
