Yeah, it's a '69 model. It was made in '99. The '69 has the original 'Tele' pick-ups . The '72 has Humbucker pick-ups. He gets it next week, he's now diving into the early Springsteen stuff which is all Telecaster.

I love the tele's, and we do a bit of Springsteen in our band sometimes, i'm in the process of building my second guitar, forked out for a piece of brazilian mahogany (considered contraband these days), kiln dried and ready to be cut to shape.....just can't decide which! EMG81 and 85's to go in and the genuine floyd rose.
Ere... you're not interested in this are you Mollers?

Well I ain't a geetar player Mollers, but I have sold a few in my time that have come from a pedigree past your lad will have a sound bit of woodwork to thrash out some riffs .. the copies are excellent bits of gear that only some purists would moan about, cos they are so good.. so I hope he enjoys it, becomes a rock star & keeps you in the style to which you have become accustomed

Went to library today with Steinunn and came along this CD by an Icelandic trubador Gylfi Ægisson and I am hooked on the title song Ó mig langar í land )Oh I want to go ashore).
