Well, the new web shop is online and almost ready for beta testing.

Product photos
We are manually making the thumbnails and adding higher res detailed pics, so that hopefully both will be the best possible representation of the item.

Unregistered checkout
We could not find a system that would work with that, so the next best thing is full Paypal integration - ie you just click on that and you don't need to enter your details twice.

Everything else (maybe not a webcam) will hopefully follow soon, as we redo the Alderney Marine site this will become the detailed "about us".

Huge thanks again and keep the comments coming.

There is that.

It is on the list, just not as high up as other things.

The local info section now has a dormant link ready for a web cam page.

We have also written a bit of biographical wassit, comments/suggestions welcome of course:

You spelt talented wrong

Or was that an intentional bit of irony?

Looking good though, night and day with the old one

I've gone off that idea. I'd much rather you concentrate on putting a wave buoy somewhere just south of the Island instead.

I always find Maplin are good on that front. Not necessarily the slickest of websites, but good communication even though it's obviously all automated. Nothing beats good photos of the product and a genuine description rather than one just lifted from the manufacturer's website.
