When it really counts - you lift yourself off the bottom of the table

Good win. England were poor. Again

Right here dude

Well done to Wales, it was possibly the best match of the six nations.

At this stage I am feeling sorry for Brian Ashton.

To the very end Wales never gave up, you may recall in a recent post I mentioned that I felt Wales are capable of great things in Rugby and today they did just that.
I am glad Wals didnt get the Wooden Spoonbecause they did not deserve that. We all know the Scots like to give England a stuffing because they tell us so, but one could see that Wales had a special place in their hearts today for England. 140% is what I would say. I can see why ou mentioned Hook to replace Henson, great player...

With regard to Ireland the lads did great and gave a stunning performance and I hope Italy enjoyed their 6 Nations and proved that they were not there for the numbers.
Scotland gave us a worry and have their memories but what about France.
I thought the new Camera was to prove beyond doubt that the ball was under downward pressure and touches the ground. I did not see anything to support that and the Try should not have been allowed. It should have been brought back for scrum, but they did deserve it I suppose, didnt they.
We had our chance and left them off the hook. Did the same today when Leamy ran theball instead of the kick for 3 points in a 10 Point Turn around.

Meanwhile, I was delighted to se Ronn O Gara get a try and then convert today. I think it was important for his game overall after the last game.

So all in all well done to all teams, it cannot have been easy and in fairness to England, well they too could have made it today but they wre very far from it.
So celebrating again with the Wine out, Roll on summer Oh and Augusta!!

The ref apparently asked the TMO to advise on any reason why a try should not be given, as he'd seen the ball being grounded - what a tw@t! He was right on the spot and had a much better view than any video ref could have. He copped out of every try decision - even the obvious ones.
Anyway, besides all that, I thought Ireland played superbly and ripped the Italians apart - just a shame their game wasn't after the France v Scotland match, which would have given them a points target to aim for - really unlucky in the end, but that's six nations for you.
Now that's all over we can get back to the real business:
Scarlets for the European Cup

Aye, it was an excellent match

We were just 16 rows from the pitch on the lower level - http://gallery.ribseadrive.co.uk/rug...land_17-03-07/

Fantastic atmosphere all the way through - I don't think that would have changed whatever the score to be honest.

Always been proud of being Welsh - also proud of being British(before Blair) but I don't agree with the way Blair 's policies have caused so much divide - it's all down to the Welsh and Scottish assemblies etc. Obviously Blair and Co have realised this because they are trying to bring the "union" closer together - when they split it in the first place!!!

As the majority of the population of the UK are all the same people it is stupid to try to split us up. Just read an article which backs up something I have always thought - the indiginous people of the UK are not Celtic or Anglo Saxon invaders - we are direct decendents of the earliest cro magnons such as the Red Lady of Pavilland(actually a man) found in a Gower cave dating to about 30,000 years ago - one of the earliest modern human remains found.

Anyway enough of the anthropology - I can't sing and my Dad was an oilman!!!
