Have a good Christmas mate. If you have a roast coming your way for the festive season you'll need plenty of gravy. If you have any questions you think I might be able to answer then feel free anytime

all being well we'll be out and about, hoping to do at least part of The Round Anglesey / Conwy Cruise and maybe The Isle Of Wight Cruise as well

deffo going for a roast, but it will be the same as last year, small portions and loads of gravy, don't want to be going backwards after this last week, every day is a little step closer, just taking it nice n steady maybe you n me should write a recipe book for other poor buggers who end up like this, be more bloody use than what the NHS dish out

just been dinking me rich tea biscuits again

nice and steady

nice to hear you are on the mend ,I don't know anyone on here but anyone who has suffered the big c has my sympathy and admiration for braving it and fighting back.
I too know personally what a shit time you go thru ,I was diagnosed with gut cancer 2 years ago ,same as you guys thought I was okay and on the mend after suffering the ops and all the messy bags ,then 12 months ago was in agony , found out they had clipped a pipe and 1 kidney was blown had that removed 6 months ago ,that kept me from boating this summer, now just found out other kidney is only pumping at 30%,what a xmas pressy eh , but I still have my boat sat in the back all wrapped up it keeps me sane knowing come march/april I will be back out fingers crossed
so a happy xmas to you and all and look forward to better health

Yep you need a sense of humour alright, have a go at gypsy creams, lovely little dunking biscuits, get them in chocolate, and another flavour, I can do a whole packet with a pint of tea, I've had to cut back a bit on this lot as my weight has now started to go up and I don't want it to go mad, getting close to my target now so everything in moderation, started drinking again, only got the taste for Guinness at the moment
