Weird floating hotel thing

Just saw this on babcocks website: http://www.babcockdisposals.co.uk/St...ison%20Ship%22

What a weird thing. Looks militery on the outside, bit it can't be surly with 192 en-suite rooms, 4 squash courts and 2 swimming pools. What is this likely to have been used for??

As Brian rightly says its the 'prison' ship in Portland Harbour, Weymouth thats being closed, they are obviously letting them all out early

Course, the dead giveaway is where it says 'HMP Weare' on it...

Is it just me that thinks Babcock's prices are getting more and more ridiculous BTW?
Who in their right mind would pay 10k for an sr5.4 with an engine from the 80's on it?

Charles Clarke could have saved himself a lot of bother by just towing it across the channel!
