A Canadian tradition so I am told is Beer Can Chicken. The recipe is simple...take one medium sized whole chicken (minus giblets of course), and one can of beer. Open said can of beer and insert the opened end up the chickens chuff. Stand/balance the chicken precariously on the beer can on the BBQ. Cook at slow heat. The beer boils and infuses the chicken making it moist and flavourful. Or so they tell me. This requires a largeish BBQ with a cover to work.
I plan to try it soon so if you hear of someone being scarred for live by an exploding beer can/bbq interface that'll be me!
