Weather Conspiracy.

Chatting to a lady yesterday who held a senior management position with a major food manufacturing company. Apparently, she required daily weather forecast updates from the met office in order to predict demand trends.

According to her, the 'bbq summer' forecast was a government instruction designed to boost the flagging economy and keep spending in the UK.

She was Welsh, so It could've been crap and a ploy to keep me chatting whilst her bloke slipped my Missus a dodgy draft for our Shogun.

I had similar when I dealt with an Ice cream company - you knew it would be a good weekend when they called to say all their vans would be out on the road over the weekend . I'm guessing though no conspiracy involved in that one !
