I haven't seen any waterproof walkie talkies - why not stick with VHF and get a couple of m33s??

Hadn't seen them, nice toy but at £200 odd each I'd stick with the M33s

Maplin sell waterproof walkie talkies.

We got a set from there for around £80.

DORO WT91x pro, rated IPx7. PMR.

They seem to work pretty well. No complaints so far.

A bit cheaper....these are still PMR ...The Mitex are Business Licence's and are a lot more powerful.

Wow....cheers guys, great response as always!

That last linky (above) looks good for what we need.....TBH we could prob shout /hand signal /smoke signal to each other....one boat either side of the river, but this might look more professional
