Wakeboard help

For those wakeboard experts out there can someone tell me if this is any good? its to be used by 4 of us, all beginners and weighing between 11 and 14 stone. (shaddup Bob,Roy,Alice,Shaggy,Ian, Sticky etc. )
Its a Hyperlite (appropriate ) and is listed as-

'149cm long by 40c wide Forged Aluminium top and Energy Rib Composite. Adjustable velcro bindings which easily fit my size 10 and three removable stabilising fins.'

Its going cheaply so if its OK ish for us It'll do! (Celtic blood see).

Theres a few negatives to having a directional board. I've never riden one so don't really know the advantages but I'd guess they carve better, cons are easy though,
If you've got kids soon enough they'll want to start riding switch and trying spins and they won't be able to do it on that.
Could be odd coming up out the water on that, imagine as your coming up sideways the boards going to want to spin to face forward before your up out the water. (I assume)

Also if any friends ride goofy then they wont be able to use the board without taking the bindings off and turning them around.

Bindings look alright. Had sandle bindings on my last board, were fine for learning and easy to take off/put on.
Now have boot bindings on my new board and they are a LOT nicer to use. Much better control, more comfortable, need to carry some fairy liquid around to get your feet in and they like ripping hairs off your ankles. Mine will fit anyone size 6 to 12 feet apparently, but obviously not so adjustable as sandle bindings if you want young kids and adults to share the board.

Hope thats all usefull stuff for you
Harry

I would swap the velcro bindings for boots if you can as they are much better once you get the hang of it.

Always find the velcro coming open at the most painful time !!

Hell, hadn't reckoned on paying extra for dubbin

from the comments so far this would appear to be a 'No' any other thoughts?

I'd go for the ebay one because you get a real nice set of bindings and a good brand board.

Lidl one could be ok, can't really tell from the advert
