Daniel surely you have the answer already. Keep the Rangy for towing the boat and lauching and have a nice car for work. Do you really want to take 20k of T5 onto a wet slimey slipway covered in salt water ? but an old Range Rover, well wouldn't even worry if the tide comes in.

Pete

Sorry Pete, you are wrong, that is the situation i am in at the moment, but driving the Rangie towing the trailer a long distance is a chor...

I want a nice car with leather seats, a/c, cruise control etc. etc. to tow my boat with. OKay i could do this with another Rangie but then i'm still into the realms of 2 cars. This car also needs to be able to launch the boat when i get there.

Remember i am not going to spent 20k on a car either, I can get a 27k T5 AWD for 20% of that value - as Phil said they devalue very quickly.

Discussion closed thanks very much! I just need to save up for 6 months now.
