I was told by drift that its water resistant but if you want to take it under water or use for water skiing etc then you need the waterproof case for it. That was for the new mini hd cam they do. I went for go pro in the end but of course drift comes with remote and lcd. I have found i don't need the lcd for the go pro though as it easy to line a shot up. Not much in them i don't think but i found most reviews go pro came out in top.

On the right hand side results of the Drift HD, the overall view on the left is the VIO POV 1. Later on I've changed the VIO POV 1 camera into a VIO POV HD. So what you see is normal video on the left and HD video on the right.
Do'nt mind the rain drops on the lenses.

Is 168 too expensive for a GoPro HD Helmet HERO Camera?

Will we need a larger waterproof case to accomodate the camera and wi-fi back? If so is one available

My understanding is that the case accommodates the camera plus one extra device: so either screen or extra battery or WiFi device. I'm not aware of a case that will accommodate more.
