Thanks Martini.

New computer ordered today, built to spec, quad core processor, 750gb hard drive, 8gb memory etc etc. Hopefully that will cope nicely with 1080 @ 60FPS.

Go Pro? 1080 @ 30fps NTSC (US format); 25fps PAL (UK format)

Good point, well presented.

Should be able to cope with 1080 and also 60 fps rather that 1080 @.

Its working nights this week thats sent me off the rails. Either that or its an age thing...

Got my gopro, now just waiting the arrival of new computer with windows 7.

I see a few people are using windows live movie maker for editing. i'm going to use the same as i've messed around and found how to get smooth time lapse and slow motion with ease and dont think i'm quite ready for loads of features yet.

However does anyone know if you can just download the raw video from the gopro straight to movie maker on windows 7? As on my current vista version on the laptop i have to use gopro's cineform software first and convert the video which is very time consuming.

I use movie maker and by attaching Go Pro camera to desk top it can down load direct to movie maker
