Very Very Hot

Just been outside at 3 pm and temperature is 115 F. Forecast says it may get down to 100F by midnight. Pheeeew- Time for a cold one sat in some water. Do not think the dog is going to get his evening walk.

I have gone to hate the heat - could be after living in stupid hot countries.

Found a copy of an old BP magazine for when we lived in Aden - 122F in the shade at 6am - the sea temp was 99F - hotter than blood - no wonder the sharks weren't dangerous - they were too sluggish to move!!!

G'day Codders
Actually the heat is not too bad as the humidity is only 10%. and of course we have that wonderfull invention called air conditioning. However we have to drink a lot of fluids to avoid dehydration. I would give my left nut for a good pint of bitter about NOW. By the way a front wheel drive Lotus must be equiv, to a 2 legged horse or something similar. If and when I get the money stashed away I am going to buy a used Caterham 7 . They are very popular in the US. Have a good night and I will start cooking dinner as I am GMT. -7hours.
Regards T.
PS. Have just heard on the news that a Chinese company have purchased the rights to the name MG and are going to build a factory in Oklahoma to build them. "Take away cooked by and Oky" I guess.

Limey, you should also have pointed out to Codders, kindly and with consideration that his beloved manuafcturer of his GPS/plotter ---- was also purchased by a Chinese company. Better also start the rumour that the Chinese are also going to buy Landrover..... That makes sense-- a pre-stone age piece of scrap iron- made by peasants. No disrespect to the PRC intended...
